An Engylen is a Welsh form, there are many variations. In the Engylen Byr Cwca there are three lines of seven syllables, ten syllables, and six syllables with an A, B, A end rhyme scheme. The second line rhymes internally with the end rhyme B. In the Engylen Cyrch, it is a four line stanza with seven syllables in each line. The rhyme scheme is end rhymes A, A, B, A with line four rhyming internally with the end of line three.

seven syllables in each
line makes this stanza a peach
grown in an orchid of mind
in a bind just within reach
