Travel Poem

A Travel Poem is a four-line poem written by wayfarers, the first line has a number in it, the second has a place in it, (it could be a city name or geographical feature or location) the third and fourth lines end rhyme and also begin with the same word.

I’ve one more book to read
then I’m off to the store
I’ll buy potato chips
I’ll buy various dips

it was three A.M.
and the canyon howled
birds were soaring bellow the ground
birds soaring through a river of sound
