Triolet

A Triolet is an eight-line poem that repeats certain lines. Lines four and seven repeat the first line and line eight repeats the second line. The rhyme scheme is A, B, A, A, A, B, A, B.

forgotten truth among the stars
constellations laugh all night long
there’s even a smile on Mars
forgotten truth among the stars
fireflies escape their jars
in the sky they make song
forgotten truth among the stars
constellations laugh all night long
