NaPoWriMo 2016 Day 9

Write a Kasa

A Kasa (aka Gasa) is a Korean form of eight syllable lines in two four syllable parts. The really interesting thing about a Kasa is the rhymes required, they are not end rhymes but the first syllables of each line is supposed to rhyme with one another. There is no set pattern, just make sure all the first syllables rhyme with at least one other first syllable.

hidden in sight, the shadow faded
didn’t you see, as it melted
it spelled the words: oh what a world
get a mop please, and clean the mess
icky shadow, left goop and grime
sticky and gross, please clean it up
while I go out, to the store and
pile the cart high with more light bulbs
