in the dark in the park
Cicadas begin to dig
unseen for seventeen
years they have grown big

but for us here we’re
not going to see any
wrong coast for most
even though their are so many

food until birds are no longer in the mood
but more keep emerging
this crowd is so loud
your headache will be surging
